Our Board of Directors, Staff & Support

The UWENA Inc. Board of Directors shall consist of no less than three and no more than five directors. The current Board of Directors is as follows:

  • Lavita Hill, Chairwoman

    Lavita (Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians) serves as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. She is passionate about seeing her people make the most of their resources and build wealth.

  • Jade Blankenship, Vice Chairwoman

    Jade (Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation) serves as Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Directors. She is passionate about seeing native children achieve success and the positive impact they can have on their community.

  • Kelsey Owle, Program Officer

    Kelsey (Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians) serves as a Program Officer for Uwena. She is passionate about sharing resources and knowledge with Cherokee Youth.

  • Cory Blankenship, Executive Advisor

    Cory (Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians) serves as the Executive Advisor to the Board of Directors. He is passionate about seeing people and organizations achieve their full potential.
